Karen Lawrence Öqvist, MSc MBA, Founder/CEO, DigitalB AB
Karen brings more than 20 years experience in IT with at least 15 of these in information security. She has a Masters degree in Information Security from the Royal Holloway University of London, and an MBA from Henley School of Management (University of Reading, UK). Karen’s 20 year career within IT security lead her onto becoming the Nordic Lead for Hewlett-Packard’s Enterprise Security, Security Consulting. Now as an entrepreneur Karen is the founder of DigitalB AB a fresh and innovative IT security consultancy working across the Nordic’s and Worldwide.


Rob Forde, Security Solutions Specialist, Dell SecureWorks
Rob Forde has over 14 years of IT Security experience from roles at leading security vendors and MSSPs. With deep technical expertise and broad industry knowledge, Rob is an expert in designing security solutions for multinational companies with complex environments. In his current role Rob engages at a senior level to help clients with key issues such as cyber intelligence; increasing security visibility; attaining & maintaining compliance, and improving security operations.


John Daniels, Senior Information Security Consultant, Weop AB
John Daniels has many years of experience working in senior positions with information security, IT-security and strategic management of IT. Daniel’s two main areas of expertise are:
1. Security in all its aspects, with a special focus on information security and IT-security.
2. Project management of IT-projects and organizational development projects and the intersection between those two.
Among the agencies and companies that Daniels have worked with can be mentioned the Swedish Armed Forces, WM-data, Spray and Ericsson.


Per Söderqvist, Sales Manager, Sophos
Per has extensive experience in IT security. Per is an expert on network and endpoint security. Prior to joining Sohos, Per was Product Manager and Presales Manager at Panda Security.


Michael Aminzade, Director, Delivery EMEA & APAC, Trustwave
Michael has over 14 years of experience in Information Security and Compliance. As VeriFone’s former Chief Information Security Officer for Europe, Middle East & Africa, Michael was responsible for all information security and compliance across the region. Michael is an active member of industry bodies in information security (ISC2, ISACA, EC-Council) and is a frequent speaker at industry events and forums. He currently serves as Trustwave’s Director, Delivery for Europe, Middle East, Africa & Asia Pacific, managing the delivery of security consulting services across the regions.


José Grandmougin, Senior Consultant, Fortinet
José Grandmougin has been in the industry since 1995 and is a Senior Consultant at Fortinet with long and divers experience of IT-security gained from his employments at different companies as e.g Consultant System Engineer, Technical Director, Telco and Carrier specialist. José haas worked at companies like Nexis System, Nortel, Alcatel, Shiva.


Samuli Siltanen, Vice President, Business Development, EMEA, SSH Communications Security
Samuli Siltanen is the Vice President of Business Development for EMEA and is responsible for sales and business development for the region at SSH Communications Security. Samuli has over 15 years of experience in working with Information Technology companies, in most, acting as the co-founder. Prior to joining SSH, he was the CEO of Siltanet, a company recognized for introducing one of the world’s first Mobile PKI platforms and its innovative authentication solutions, successfully delivered to many of the largest organizations in Nordics. Samuli holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Aalto University School of Science and Technology.


Gunnar Karlsson, Senior Management Consultant IT Strategy & Architecture, IBM
Gunnar Karlsson is a very experienced senior Consultant and a good listener. Gunnar is an experienced leader of engagement teams. He has deep knowledge in information security, business resilience and continuous availability.His expertise lies in performing assessments and makes the assessments moving into implementations. Jan Branzell, CEO, Veriscan Security AB
Jan Branzell is the CEO of Veriscan Security AB. He is taking part in the development of the ISO 27000 series of standards in ISO JTC1/SC27 since 2005 and is currently International Editor for the standards about information security economics, and implementation of ISO/IEC 27001 Information Security Management System. Naturally Jan has a wide experience of applying the standards to different types of organizations that he brings into the standard work. Jan use to say: “The interesting thing working with standards is all about the challenge to bring in practical usage that still is globally accepted”


Otto Eberstein, Senior Account Executive, Absolute Software
Otto Eberstein is an accomplished IT professional with a high level of competence and substantial account management and channel development experience. With more than eighteen years’ experience working within the IT industry, in sales and development roles for a range of different products, Otto is a trusted advisor to many customers that have worked with him. Before joining Absolute Software, Otto worked as a key account manager for Atea an established IT reseller based in Sweden. During this time Otto was responsible for aligning customer needs, goals and objectives with the right solutions ensuring optimum customer satisfaction. Otto moved to the UK and joined the Absolute Software team in 2011 as the Territory Manager for Nordics and Mediterranean, quickly progressing to Regional Manager, and is responsible for business development in the Nordic and Mediterranean area, working with customers, OEM’s and channel partners alike.


Erkan Kahraman, Chief Information Security Officer, Projectplace
As the CISO of projectplace, Erkan has the general responsibility for the company’s information security programme on an operative and strategic level. Before that, he was a manager at Protiviti, where he managed and executed a range of value adding information security and privacy management initiatives, IT governance and risk management control frameworks and best practices to help organisations maximise the return on information systems investments, while at the same time minimising their risks. Erkan previously was with Deloitte, contributing to the Enterprise Risk Services within the global accounting firm’s Istanbul office, where he executed a range of risk-based IT audit and information security risk assessment projects.


Lars Vestergaard, Enterprise Account Executive Nordics, AirWatch
Lars Vestergaard is Enterprise Account Executive for the Nordics at AirWatch®, the global leader and innovator in mobile device security and the largest Enterprise Mobile Management (EMM) provider. In this role, he is responsible for sales into enterprise accounts in the Scandinavian countries.Prior to joining Airwatch, Vestergaard worked more than 15 years in the mobile and telecommunication industry. He worked 3 years as Managing Director at Mobilethink selling operator MDM and analytics solutions to mobile operators around the world. Before that he founded the enterprise mobility research for IDC in EMEA where he worked for 11 years as head of mobile research with a very broad customer base consisting of operators, vendors, investment banks, management consulting companies, as well as CIOs across all verticals. During this time he was a well-known industry commentator and keynote presenter at large mobile industry event around the world. He was in 2009 voted to be the most influential mobile analyst in EMEA by the IIAR. Vestergaard received a Master of International Business from Aarhus University, which included studies at Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and Singapore Institute of Management.


Cristiano Iarusci, Senior Security Manager, 24Solutions AB
Cristiano works as senior Security Manager at 24Solutions AB, with focus on ethical hacking and PCIDSS/PADSS-related topics. After graduating in Electronics Engineering in Italy and gaining experience in the domain of Microelectronics, he switched to Information Security and gained a significant international experience in such field, mainly through long-term consultancy relationships with large-scale companies and organizations (payment service providers, central banks, telcos, state institutions), covering several domains of IT Security – from operations to governance – and practicing on a broad range of technologies. He’s specialized in Ethical Hacking, System, Network and Application Security, PCI DSS and PA DSS (as former QSA and PA QSA) but, generally speaking, deals on a daily basis with whatever revolves around the realm of security.


Tomas Sundstrom, Consulting Engineer EMEA, Arbor Networks
Tomas studied technical engineering in both Sweden and the USA. Received a degree in engineering and machine science 1990. Tomas is a Network & Security Architect including large operational experience from SMB to Enterprise to large scale Tier 1 Carrier networks. For the past 7 years Tomas holds the position as a consulting engineer in EMEA for Arbor Networks focusing on the Nordic threat landscape including visibility and availability. Previously he held various technical positions in (Tele – Telecom Finland – Sonera – TeliaSonera), Golbalone, Anoto and Hi3G focusing on infrastructure and Security.
